For this review, I used the web version at grammarly.com where you can to write or upload documents directly in your browser. But users have the option to use a mobile app, browser extension, or even a direct Word plugin. Initially you are taken through a process to tell the system what type of writing Grammarly will help you with.

Set up is rather easy and then you are off to the races. The interface is not meant to b cumbersome. Just start drafting or upload a document and Grammarly will get to work. One of Grammarly’s standout strengths is its ability to adjust tone and writing style based on your intended audience. In legal practice, drafting a communication for a court clerk is not the same as preparing one for a corporate client or an internal report. Grammarly helps you tailor your writing to be formal, neutral, persuasive, or approachable — without compromising the rigor the legal profession demands (or if you use it personally – the demands of the persuasive PTA parent). So no matter your area of practice, Grammarly will support you in a custom manner.
